At the heart of Indian philosophy lies Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — “The World is One Family.”
Rooted in the Maha Upanishad, this timeless idea reminds us that divisions of race, religion, geography, or ideology are human constructs. For the broad-minded, the entire Earth is family.

“Ayam nijah paroveti ganana laghuchetasam… Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”
Narrow minds divide; noble hearts unite.

This principle, echoed from ancient scriptures to India’s G20 Presidency theme — One Earth, One Family, One Future, defines India’s moral leadership in a fragmented world.

Alongside it stand five other guiding principles that together form the ethical backbone of Indian civilization:

An eternal call to act responsibly—for society, for nature, and for future generations.

On this Republic Day, let us remember:
